Bill Bryson is one of the world's most beloved and bestselling writers. In A Short History of Nearly Everything, he takes his ultimate journey-into the most intriguing and consequential questions that science seeks to answer. It's a dazzling quest, the intellectual odyssey of a lifetime, as this insatiably curious writer attempts to understand everything that has transpired from the Big Bang to the rise of civilization. Or, as the author puts it, ..".how we went from there being nothing at all to there being something, and then how a little of that something turned into us, and also what happened in between and since." This is, in short, a tall order. To that end, Bill Bryson apprenticed himself to a host of the world's most profound scientific minds, living and dead. His challenge is to take subjects like geology, chemisty, paleontology, astronomy, and particle physics and see if there isn't some way to render them comprehensible to people, like himself, made bored (or scared) stiff of science by school. His interest is not simply to discover what we know but to find out how we know it. How do we know what is in the center of the earth, thousands of miles beneath the surface? How can we know the extent and the composition of the universe, or what a black hole is? How can we know where the continents were 600 million years ago? How did anyone ever figure these things out? On his travels through space and time, Bill Bryson encounters a splendid gallery of the most fascinating, eccentric, competitive, and foolish personalities ever to ask a hard question. In their company, he undertakes a sometimes profound, sometimes funny, and always supremely clear and entertaining adventure in the realms of human knowledge, as only this superb writer can render it. Science has never been more involving, and the world we inhabit has never been fuller of wonder and delight.Binding Type: Hardcover

Love these pants
Color: Apricot, Size: Large
These wide leg palazzo pants are super nice! The material is very lightweight, making them perfect for summer. They’re incredibly flattering, comfortable, and I absolutely love the fit. The drawstring waist and pockets are a great bonus!
For reference, I’m 5’10”, 170 lbs, and ordered a Large — they fit perfectly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for stylish, flowy, comfortable summer pants!

Love! New favorite pants!!
Color: Apricot, Size: Medium
I really love these pants!
They’re extremely versatile. I wear them to work in professional attire, then come home, throw on a t-shirt, and wear them to lounge for the evening. They’ll even be great over a swimsuit on vacation.
Bonus points for having pockets! They have been durable enough for my phone and keys without them dragging the pants down.
When I first received them, I was surprised by how thin and somewhat see-through the apricot pants are— to the point that I considered returning them. I’m so glad I didn’t! They are insanely comfortable. Don’t let the reviews about being see-through deter you. Work around it! One day of wear and you’ll see why.
I prefer to wear these with shirts that tuck in the front and cover most of my bottom in the back due to how see-through they are in this light color. The comfort is worth it!
They are long for someone my height, 5’2”. I wear them with a Sofft sandal that has a thicker sole that adds a little height. This prevents them from touching the ground without me having to pull up on them all day. I can easily and comfortably wear them a little high on the waist to help with the length, as long as I’m wearing the thicker-soled sandal (or a heel). I don’t wear heels, so it’s thicker soled shoes for me!
I don’t feel these are going to be the most durable pants and expect to replace them more quickly than other pants- but I do expect to get at least a couple of good years out of them.
They are lightweight and cool, perfect for summer and spring. I don’t see myself wearing them to work or anywhere outside during cold winter weather.
I read the reviews and ordered a size down. I’m normally a large, size 8-10, and the medium fits wonderfully and is very giving. If I liked a tight pant, I probably could’ve gone with a small.
I will absolutely be purchasing them in other colors!
With this apricot color you’ll need to wear white or skin-colored seamless underwear.
I took one star off for being somewhat see-through. Outside of that, they are easily 5 star pants. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
For the $20-$25 price, get them and thank me later!!

Great quality for the price!
Color: Apricot, Size: Small
Great palazzo pants! I was looking for something to wear in Florida to a graduation but did not want to be too hot. These pants are versatile and very flattering. So comfortable as well and no wrinkles! The length was perfect for me at 5'2" and they wash very well. I purchased slip shorts to wear underneath to avoid the dreaded panty line / crease, etc. and the slip shorts smooth everything out & make you look seamless!

So great, that I own 4 pairs of these Sampeel pants!
Color: Pattern Leopard, Size: Large, Color: Pattern Leopard, Size: Large
I own 4 pairs of these pants because I love them so much! I receive many compliments when I wear them. They are stylish, comfortable, and a great thin material that keeps you cool while looking professional. I am 5" tall and can wear them with heels without needing them to be hemmed (which is unusual for me when ordering pants). They have an elastic waist band with drawstrings so I can wear them while losing weight, they don't wrinkle easily, and they have pockets! Great pants for a great price! I will continue to purchase more throughout the summer.

The good with the bad
Color: Pattern Kah, Size: XX-Large
Photos in listing depict a LINEN pant - in the close up's you can clearly see a linen/cotton like material. To my surprise, these pants are a silky, polyester material. There is NO stretch - I am glad I purchased a size larger than what I consider my " roomy " size. These style is also depicted as a beige and black color pattern, they are more of a light mauve color out of the packaging. Took a steamer to them to get the wrinkles out. Suitable for tall girls ( I am 5'9 ) and wearing them with 3 in wedge. They are cute - dressy enough for a business casual office setting or a date night. Probably not the best for hot humid weather as they are not breathable.
