Amphenol's patented SwitchPlug employs a unique 360 degree precision sliding helical spring contact design to quietly and accurately switch the signal circuit to ground during instrument changes under load, thereby avoiding annoying buzzing, thumps, pops and squeals. The sliding ring contact self-cleans every time the plug is connected preventing excessive build-up of oxidization and contamination. Activation is directly off the jack's front face ensuring a positive reference point, and as it works instantaneously on the main circuits there is no need for the use of magnets or other elaborate switching mechanisms.

Each of Amphenol's 1/4'' phone connectors features a rugged diecast shell, machined contacts, patented ''Jaws'' cable clamp, and is engineered to be easy to assemble. The company's wide range of options ensures that Amphenol's got you covered the next time you build a microphone cable, balanced patch cable, headphone cable, or instrument cable for your guitar, bass, or keyboard.

Amphenol Australia has manufactured innovative pro sound connectors since 1955. The company's T Series 1/4'' phone plugs show how the company is pushing the design of pro connectors forward without sacrificing quality.

Always order big!
I needed a minimum of 2 AWG wire to create interconnects between batteries in a large bank. If you note, these say 1/0 Gauge, not AWG. What is 1/0 Gauge? Who knows, it's fake. Meaningless, because it is not standardized so you have no clue what you are getting. What did I get for my 1/0 Gauge wire? Something that was in between 1 and 2 AWG (closer to 1). This was perfect for my needs because I knew darn well how big to order when they say gauge instead of AWG. As a rule of thumb: If they as gauge, order 3 - 4 sizes larger than you need in AWG. This will always net you larger wire than you need but I have never had it net me wire smaller than I needed. At the price I got it for during prime days, it was a steal for 2 AWG wire, so I win! I hope you found this helpful!

Heavy duty and has lasted three years so far
I have had this relay installed in the engine bay of my Lexus RX 300, functioning to link the front battery to the additional battery in the trunk whenever the ignition is on. The relay has worked reliably for about three years now with no complaints besides one minor comment, be careful when threading down the nut on the Low voltage side. It is prone to stripping

Heavy Duty!!
Performed extremely well. No buzzzing or poor connection. Extremely well built and has been working issue free for over 6 months! Instalation can be a bit difficult due to size and weight. Not really a problem.
