Sizing is important! Never buy your child a "one size fits all" necklace. To find the most appropriate length for your child, we recommend measuring using a piece of string. You should be able to put two fingers between your child's neck and the necklace and the child should not be able to reach the necklace to his/her mouth. Our jewelry is made for wearing, never for chewing!

SAFETY

Our jewelry has been lab-tested for safety in a USA CPSIA-approved lab and is approved for children age 0+. Our children's jewelry is individually hand-knotted between each bead so that if the necklace were to break, only one bead would be released and not the entire strand. Our necklaces are designed to break away at 10lbs of pressure -- If you (or your child) tug on the necklace, it will snap at the clasp. Our necklaces are available with plastic screw clasps (unless a pop clasp is noted), each with a safety release built in. 

Warning: Necklaces contain small parts. Children must be supervised at all times while wearing jewelry.

Care + Use:

Wear your Baltic Amber necklace next to the skin, under clothing. For children, remove jewelry during nap and sleep times. Avoid chlorine, detergents and cleansers. To care for your Baltic Amber, clean with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
