As Brené Brown says, when we cut ourselves off from the ChallenginG emotions, like Grief, and try to run from them, we're ALSO cutting ourselves off from the fun, happy, positive emotions like JOY and LOVE and BELONGING. I really appreciate how this book might say "God" and talk about things being Holy AND YET this book is NOT centered on religion. I would not be able to read it if it was. I feel in good hands since the author seems wiser than religion and religiosity. For me, God is cool; religion is Not. This book feels good to read. I think this can be a helpful book for EveryonE, these days - even those who've already been on this spiritual Healing journey for quite some time.
