THE SPOTNICKS, from Gothenburg, in Sweden, were the first Scandinavian Pop group to become internationally successful, in the early 1960s. Primarily an Instrumentals' group, they had an unusually ethereal sound and style, courtesy of their front man/founder/lead guitarist, Bo Winberg. Winberg was an electronics wizard whose experiments with overdubbing and sped-up tapes made them essentially a studio band, as some of their most well-known numbers could not be accurately reproduced live. This compilation sweeps up everything that they released in 1961-62, featuring their first two LPs, "The Spotnicks" and "Out-A-Space - The Spotnicks In London", plus seven bonus tracks.

ICONIC/RETRO BUT SUPER STYLISH, EXCELLENT QUALITY, PLS READ!!!!
THEY SAY ICONIC BUT AND ARE SUPER IN FASHION TODAY!!! I HAVE TO SAY THAT THESE ARE EXCEPTIONALLY STURDY AND PERFECT FOR GETTING YOUR PRESCRIPTION LENSES PUT INTO, WHICH I AM DOING. EVERYONE IN THE OPTICAL DEPARTMENT AND TWO CUSTOMERS LOVED THESE AND ASKED WHERE I FOUND THEM!!
THE LOOK OF THEM IS PERFECT. I LOVE THE PINK AGAINST THE GOLD VERSACE LOGO ON THE ARM. THEY ARE A TRANSPARENT PINK, AND I WANTED TO MENTION THAT FOR CLARITY SAKE. THESE ARE A COMBINATION OF A LARGER RECTANGLE THAT PULLS UP INTO CATEYE GLASSES. THEY LOOK SO SHARP ON AND I RECEIVED COMPLIMENTS WHEN I BROUGHT THEM IN, AND I GOT COMPLIMENTS WHEN I PICKED THEM UP! I AM INCREDIBLY HAPPY!!
FUNCTIONALLY, THESE ARE PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS BECAUSE MY PRESCRIPTION LENSES ARE TRIFOCALS, AND THERE’S PLENTY OF ROOM TO ACCOMMODATE MY NEEDS. I HAVE A ROUND FACE SO THIS SHAPE IS PERFECT FOR ME. I DO BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE SO VERSATILE THAT THEY WOULD BE GREAT FOR ANY FACE SHAPES. I’M SUPER GRATEFUL FOR HOW WELL MADE THESE FRAMES ARE!!!! THEY ARE EXCEPTIONAL!!!! WHEN I GAVE THEM TO THE OPTICAL TEAM, I WAS TOLD THAT THESE ARE SUPER STYLISH AND STURDY, AND PUTTING MY PRESCRIPTION LENSES INTO THE FRAMES WILL BE EASY BECAUSE THEY ARE HIGH QUALITY.
