The Eccotemp 4 Gal. Mini tank water heater is a larger form of the em-2.5 point-of-use mini tank water heater with a holding tank capable of holding 4 gal. That is designed to supply instant hot water on demand to any faucet without long hot water pipe runs or to supply a standalone sink or faucet instantaneous hot water without wait. It can be used in most under the counter, point of use applications. The em-4.0 is designed to supply hot water for all hand wash and kitchen sinks in a residential, commercial or industrial environment. The em-4.0 can replace traditional central hot water heaters thereby conserving water and reducing energy waste. The em-4.0 can also be plumbed in series with the central water heater and act as a booster. It is lightweight and compact and manufactured for easy installation. It can be mounted on the wall with included hardware or freestanding and is designed to operate at 150 psi maximum water pressure. Install a pressure reducing valve if your water pressure is greater than 150 psi.- Tank volume: 4 Gal.

Perfect fit and high quality.

Good product, not much to say. The product arrived quickly, looks to be of high quality construction, fit perfectly and took me only a couple of minutes to install. I love it when a product is no frills and delivers as advertised. More power, slightly lower (8%) MPG.

Installed on a 2.0 liter Subaru Impreza.
I drive up/down the I5 in california 3-4 times a year. For those that don't know there is about a 200 mile flat stretch where everyone runs at 75-85mph.
With various filters (FRAM, BOSCH, Subaru OEM), I would consistently get 29.8 mpg. Once I installed the K&N, I could feel the car pulling with a bit more power, but I noticed that I was getting about 27.5 mpg.
Totally worth it as the impreza is a little under powered and I don't drive many miles (6k/year) but if you are putting a lot of miles on your car, you may want to have more mpg.
