This foldable climbing step is made of cast, anodized aluminium and fits all aluminium mast sections from C137 and larger. The step unfolds by pushing its lower end and a spring-loaded locking device holds it firmly without rattling when folded. It is well-rounded to prevent lines from getting tangled.
Fit one or two for easier access to the head of the mainsail, or all the way up to the top for regular rig inspections.
M6x12 mm screws included.
For installation on a carbon mast, make sure that the laminate is reinforced to allow for retrofit installations.
Better safe than sorry - Mast climbing steps can be used in addition, but not as an alternative to your normal safety equipment for working aloft. Wear a harness.
