This pattern assumes you can set up your sewing machine and that you can sew a standard straight stitch and a zig zag stitch. This skirt makes a great second project, or a first project for the ambitious. Six gores (or panels) make up the body of the flared skirt. The front features two pockets sewn into the seams and 1" wide flat waistband.

This skirt makes a great second project, or a first project for the ambitious. Six gores (or panels) make up the body of the flared skirt. The front features two pockets sewn into the seams and 1" wide flat waistband. Pockets are self-lined, or you can pick a different fabric for the lining. The back has elastic in the waistband. The lower edge is finished with a double fold hem. Choose 18" long (View A) or 22" long (View B). Easy to follow sewing instructions, a fabric anatomy guide and a glossary of sewing terms included!
Sizes included: XS - XL to fit hips 34 1/2" - 50".
