Wallis Budge, one of the world's foremost Egyptologists, focuses on Osiris as the single most important Egyptian deity.This is the most thorough explanation ever offered of Osirism. With rigorous scholarship, going directly to numerous Egyptian texts, making use of the writings of Herodotus, Diodorus, Plutarch and other classical writers, and of more recent ethnographic research in the Sudan and other parts of Africa, Wallis Budge examines every detail of the cult of Osiris. At the same time he establishes a link between Osiris worship and African religions. He systematically investigates such topics as: the meaning of the name Osiris (in Egyptian, Asar); the iconography associated with him; the heaven of Osiris as conceived in the VIth dynasty; Osiris's relationship to cannibalism, human sacrifice and dancing; Osiris as ancestral spirit, judge of the dead, moon-god and bull-god; the general African belief in god; ideas of sin and purity in Osiris worship; the shrines, miracle play and mysteries of Osiris; The Book of Making the Spirit of Osiris and other liturgical texts; funeral and burial practices of the Egyptians and Africans; the idea of the Ka, spirit-body and shadow; magical practices relating to Osiris; and the worship of Osiris and Isis in foreign lands.
Throughout there are admirable translations of pyramid texts (often with the original hierogyphics printed directly above) and additional lengthy texts are included in the appendices. There are also a great many reproductions of classical Egyptian art, showing each phase of the Osiris story and other images bearing upon his worship. The great wealth of detail, primary informatioin, and original interpretation in this book will make it indispensable to Egyptologists, students of classical civilization and students of comparative religion. Since Osiris seems to have been the earliest death and resurrection god, whose worship both caused and influenced later dieties, the cult of Osiris is highly important to all concerned with the development of human culture.

Unlocking Higher Wisdom: Amazing Insights from Melissa Feick’s Transformative Guide

When I was searching for material on Akashic Records, the book that caught my attention more than any other was “A Radical Approach to the Akashic Records: Master Your Life and Raise Your Vibration,” by Melissa Feick. Melissa has studied Metaphysics for most of her life, and has been teaching Metaphysical classes for over 20 years. She has been an intuitive channeler, healer, and Akashic Records reader for over 22 years.
The first thing to know about this book is that Melissa draws a clear distinction between “earth” Akashic Records and “quantum field” Akashic Records. The Earth's Akashic Records are probably the ones you have heard about. In readings from them, you find out things about your past lives on Earth and how experiences and actions from the past may be affecting you now.
In contrast to the Earth Records, the Quantum Akashic Records include not only the Earth, but also everything in the Universe – past, present, and future. They are living records that contain limitless possibilities of creation. And instead of just looking at individual earth lifetimes, the Quantum Records help you identify patterns and heal issues over many lifetimes at once. Quantum Records can also be used for physical healings, manifesting, and connecting to Divine Love.
I can see why Melissa called her book “a radical approach”. She busted several myths about the Akashic Records that I had bought into---like: that only someone who is a psychic or a channeler can access the records. According to Melissa, with a little instruction, anyone can access the Akashic Records in the quantum field. The book gives you a process for accessing the Quantum Akashic Records for self-exploration and healing, as well as how to do readings for others.
Another myth she busted for me concerned life purpose. Her angle is that there is a basic, collective life purpose that underlies all individual ones. She says that everyone’s basic life purpose is to evolve, to live from their higher self, and enjoy multidimensional life. We don’t all have separate life purposes – we just fulfill them in different ways, depending on our talents and proclivities.
I know for myself, I was beginning to wonder “What is my life purpose and what should I be “doing” more (or less) of.” So, it was a relief to read this book, and find that just living my life and growing in the wisdom of knowing more and more about the Self can be enough.
Karma, according to Melissa, is not something that we are being punished for (another busted myth); it’s just a past situation that needs to be disentangled. The process the book teaches also includes how to disentangle your past karma and your triggered emotions so you can experience higher planes of existence.
When you’ve done that, you can transcend your karma and are then able to manifest your desires more easily and spontaneously. This is because the quantum field is the source of creation, and with Melissa’s process, you work at that basic source level.
She discusses several different aspects of karma. The book also dives into the role of “ascension” (growth toward enlightenment), the “planes of existence”, the “toroidal field”, and the “egoic brain”. All these subjects come into play when accessing and working with the quantum Akashic Records. And many chapters conclude with a guided meditation to integrate the material.
Melissa’s mission is to support you on your spiritual path and to help you feel more empowered and in love with life. Her passion is “Ascension” and expanding the consciousness of the planet by supporting the spiritual community. She is an open channel to the Ascension frequencies and sacred Light Codes and loves to share that wisdom with others.
If you want to increase your frequency, access higher states of consciousness, and be able to enjoy your life more, I recommend you get a copy of this book and start accessing your Akashic Records in the quantum field. Your future self will thank you!

Eye-opening!!!

Prior to reading this book I had no background with the Akashic Records. Years ago a synchronicity brought me to learning about souls, life between lives, and reincarnation, and this information was life changing as I had always been looking for answers to the questions:
Why are we here?
Where did we come from?
Where are we going?
But simply knowing the basic answers to these questions was not enough to totally transform my life.
It was nice to know there was a plan, but my next step was to go deeper. So I began working with Melissa Feick to change my vibration, release stuck emotions from my past, become more conscious, and begin to use the law of attraction consciously.
After a few months of doing this work I’ve had major breakthroughs, and now after reading this book, I am beyond excited to download the meditations and begin working with the Akashic Records to master the energies and planes and transcend karma.
Melissa has taken concepts that are normally “woo-ee-woo” and vague and broken them down into simple terms while discussing the nuts and bolts of each idea and adding science in there as appropriate.
The result is a down to earth book with radical approaches to healing that anyone can understand and benefit from.
I have a new understanding and appreciation of how the universe works, and I also am now equipped with simple exercises I can use to tap into the Akashic Records to release old shit and create a better life.
I would say this book is a must-read for anyone on the spiritual path...and aren’t we all?

An excellent reference for guiding into Akashic Records

This book is a nice compilation of various spiritual concepts and philosophies that are explained in very deep but clear pearls. I am currently practicing the meditations to enter the Records and I thank Melissa for writing such a beautiful book.

Beautifully written and informative

I enjoyed this book immensely and think that the author is truly a master when is comes to explaining concepts which are sometimes difficult to understand or relate to. The steps taken and process to follow in order to reach to access the Akashic Records were easy to follow and certainly, a practice I started to follow, almost daily. Although I knew a fair amount about the Akashic Records, I had not found a book to assist in actually reaching them - now I do. This book was a treasure for me and will be re-read again and again. A joy to read and comes very highly recommended.
