Feeding Guidelines for Mazuri® Mini Pig Active Adult Food
Daily Feeding Amount:
Feed mini pigs 1-2% of their body weight per day, split into two meals. Adjust based on:
- Body condition
- Activity level
- Other foods offered
- Environmental temperature
- Social structure
Additional Fiber Options:
Grass, hay, or produce may help mature mini pigs feel full but should not exceed 25% of their total diet.
Transitioning to Mature Maintenance:
Switch to Mazuri® Mini Pig Mature Maintenance between 1.5 to 3 years of age, as needed.
Gestation & Lactation Nutrition:
- Feed a 50/50 mix of Mazuri® Mini Pig Active Adult and Mazuri® Mini Pig Youth.
- For higher energy needs (large litters or frequent breedings), increase Mazuri® Mini Pig Youth to 60% of daily intake.
