The Tomorrow People was a young adult British-made science fiction television series created by Roger Price. Produced by Thames Television for the ITV Network, the program first ran from April 1973 to February 1979 over the course of 8 seasons (66 episodes), while a sequel series ran for 3 seasons (25 episodes) from November 1992 to March 1995. Over the series run, the format proved flexible enough to encompass a variety of stories including traditional alien invasions adventures as well as entering into genres such as espionage thrillers, slapstick comedy, time travel, political satires, and space opera.
