This sheath is an improvement to the original design which featured more screws, and, like most sheaths, an outside-the-belt drop attachment.
The 2.0 is purpose built to ride underneath the elastic rain-gear belt, holding both sheath and knife-handle against the body, drastically reducing mesh snags while providing a safe and secure method of blade retention.
While the sheath holds tight to the body, little effort is needed by the user to rotate it along the belt, allowing you to move it from front to back, out of your workspace, and hold tight once more after placement.
