The SID Rotary Portable Sludge Interface Detector from Raven Environmental Products features a digital controller with a backlit display for improved night time visibility. Its intuitive design lets operators simply release the probe and retrieve it like a fishing reel, eliminating contact with wet surfaces. The digital counter provides sludge elevation readings in inches or centimetres, while the rail-mounted base ensures measurement consistency. The unit is built is for durability, with a stainless steel infrared sensor and protective 4-point aluminium roll cage, but still lightweight and compact to allow servicing multiple tanks.

Base Stations:
Base stations are integral for efficient use of the SID Rotary Sludge Interface Detector. They are mounted at each tank, providing a fixed sampling point for sludge level measurement. The SID Rotary is mounted by simply sliding it under the base station claws, with an additional tether provided for extra security. Base stations are sold separately, with Universal, L-Rail, T-Rail, and Round Rail options available. Base stations include stainless steel and aluminum mounting hardware.
Free-Style Handle:
The ergonomic free-style handle allows use of the SID Rotary Portable Sludge Interface Detector in tanks without railings for base station mounting. Pressing the thumb lever releases the brake, allowing the sensor to be lowered into the tank. Free-style handle is sold separately.
