THIS LAMP PROVIDES UVB, UVA AND VISIBLE LIGHT FOR YOUR REPTILE:

UVB: Reptiles require UVB for the synthesis of vitamin D and the metabolism of calcium. Without adequate UVB exposure, reptiles may develop Metabolic Bone Disease in as little as six months. This lamp, when combined with appropriate temperatures, empowers your reptiles to produce vitamin D and absorb calcium from their diet.

UVA: Reptiles and amphibians can perceive wavelengths that are invisible to humans. UVA is part of the spectrum of colors visible to reptiles. It plays a crucial role in enhancing activity levels, appetite, and reproductive behaviors. Without sufficient UVA, they experience a form of color blindness!

LAMP DISTANCE: This lamp provides essential UVB up to 60 cm from the bulb's surface. Note that glass and plastic can obstruct UVB; ensure there are no barriers between the lamp and your reptile. Fine mesh can block up to 50% of light and UVB, which should be factored in when establishing lamp distance. The T5 HO ReptiSun 5.0 is intended for most reptiles housed in terrariums that are 30 to 60 cm in height. Always maintain a distance of at least 15 cm between the lamp and your pet.

WHEN TO REPLACE YOUR LAMP: This lamp will deliver beneficial UVB to your pets for up to 12 months when utilized for 10 to 12 hours daily. Make sure to note the date of first use on the lamp and replace it after 12 months.

less early morning blowouts!

As a mom of a very active toddler, finding a diaper that actually holds up overnight has been a journey. We recently switched to the Huggies Size 7 Overnites, and overall, I’m really glad we did. First, the biggest win: way fewer blowouts. Before this, we were dealing with middle-of-the-night sheet changes more often than I’d like to admit. Since using these, that’s pretty much stopped, which alone has been a huge quality-of-life improvement for both me and my toddler. They’re also super absorbent compared to regular diapers. The fit is snug but still flexible, which is great because he moves a lot in his sleep. That said, they’re not 100% perfect for us. We still get the occasional small pee leak, especially if he’s had a lot to drink before bed or sleeps in certain positions. BUT—and this is important—it’s still so much better than what we were dealing with before. Instead of full outfit and bedding changes, it’s usually just slightly damp pajamas. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend these to other parents dealing with overnight messes. They’ve significantly reduced our stress and cleanup, even if they’re not completely leak-proof for every single night. If you’re on the fence and struggling with overnight blowouts, these are definitely worth trying.
