The Fishman Rare Earth Mic Blend Active Soundhole Pickup gives players acoustic-electric sound like they’ve never experienced before. How’s that? Well, this isn’t just another pickup. It’s actually a combination of a humbucker and a cardioid condenser mic that captures string vibration and body resonance through two sources at once. That way you’ll benefit from resonant tone and also have your percussive hits on the soundboard sounding right at home. A voicing switch allows for bass extension or roll-off, and a thumb wheel lets you blend the mic and pickup for the perfect combination.
What makes a Marcin signature?
Marcin has served as an inspiration for a new generation of guitar players, introducing them to the classics while exemplifying a unique and fresh way of playing. In order to put this guitar’s best foot forward, Ibanez outfitted it with tonewoods that sing and slap with plenty of glorious sustain and percussive punch.
