Laser engraving is precise, permanent, and highly detailed. Unlike embossing, engraving burns the surface layer of the leather, resulting in a subtle contrast that varies by color and finish:

• Lighter tones (tan, beige, natural, caramel) → high-contrast engraving, bold and visible
• Darker tones (brown, navy, black, burgundy) → subtle, tone-on-tone effect
• Matte/uncoated leathers absorb evenly; glossy finishes appear softer
