Il naso è fresco, ma nel contempo maturo e caratterizzato da una forte mineralità, cui fanno da contorno dei delicati sentori floreali. Regala note tostate e affumicate, profumi speziati e aromi di fragola matura e ciliegia. In bocca risulta avere un bello stile e lascia emergere nel retrogusto finale leggeri ricordi vegetali.Il Chianti Classico Riserva è ottenuto da una selezione di uve raccolte nei vigneti che riescono a garantire un frutto più adatto alla vinificazione di vini dal lungo invecchiamento. Viene lasciato macerare in acciaio, a contatto con le bucce per circa venti giorni. Riposa per 18 mesi in botti piccole e affina in vetro per tre mesi. È ottimo e caratterizzato da una straordinaria beva e lunghezza.
È ottimo con le preparazioni a base di carni rosse, cacciagione e selvaggina. Buono con lo stracotto di manzo.
