Fidelity-Research FR-64S Vintage Hi-Fi Tone Arm In Excellent Condition

The Fidelity Research FR-64S is a high-mass tonearm manufactured in Japan during the late 70's, early 80's, designed for use with turntables requiring a separate tonearm assembly. It is part of Fidelity Research’s range of standalone tonearms for analog playback systems.

The arm features an S-shaped arm tube and a detachable headshell system (SME-type bayonet), allowing compatibility with a wide range of phono cartridges. It is constructed as a standalone unit for installation into compatible plinths and turntable setups.

Condition:

 

  • This is a used unit.

  • This unit has been tested and it is working as it should.

  • Physically this unit is in excellent condition for its age. It shows some minor wear from use and age like some small surface imperfections. Nothing major at all.

  • This unit ships with a wiring loom.

  • The FR-64FX is definitely for people who are experienced with turntables and setting up tone arms. This is because this unit is delicate and require fine precision to set up. We will not be able to remotely help with set up or installation. So please ensure you are confident before purchase or have a technician who can install it for you. (If you are able to visit our store in West Gosford, NSW we could help with set up)

  • This sale is for the tonearm and wiring loom pictured. Nothing else, nor any other parts are included in this sale.
