Whether you’re performing an R35 coil pack conversion or repairing a weathered MAF sensor plug, this 62 E-Type series connector is the professional's choice. These plugs are often subjected to extreme heat on top of the valve cover, leading to the "push-tab" snapping off. A loose ignition or MAF connection is a recipe for misfires and lean spikes—this kit ensures a factory-spec, snap-lock fit.

This is the exact OEM-spec replacement for Series 2 RB25DET and S15 SR20DET coils, as well as the high-output R35 GTR ignition system. For the Subaru crowd, this is the essential fix for 97-98 WRX/STI Air Flow Meters.

Compatibility & Fitment

This 3-pin weatherproof connector is a direct replacement for:

  • Nissan Ignition Coils: R35 GTR, Series 2 RB25DET, and S15 SR20DET.

  • Subaru Sensors: 1997–1998 WRX/STI Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensors.

  • Nissan Air Flow Meters: R34 Skyline (RB25DET), Maxima (VQ30DE), and Patrol (RD28T).

  • OEM P/N: 6098-0141.

What’s in the Box?

  • 1x Connector Body (3-Pin)

  • 1x Internal Terminal Lock (Ensures pins stay seated under vibration)

  • 3x High-Conductivity Terminals

  • 3x Weatherproof Wire Seals

Installation

  • Crimp Tool: To ensure your ignition system provides a consistent, high-voltage spark, we recommend using the Sargent 1026CT crimp tool for a professional, gas-tight finish.

They're okay, but they're quite bulky.
I liked the design and overall application of these, but they don't fit my needs. They definitely work well at protecting my hands from freezing weather, but they are way too bulky for regular motorcycle use. In my opinion, I feel that these would be much more suited for a snowmobile or ATV. If you treat them as what they’re mostly designed for — ATV/snow-related riding or cold-weather utilitarian use — these gloves are a solid buy. They deliver warmth, weather protection, and decent control through the TPU windows. But if you put them on a fast street motorcycle or expect “motorcycle-glove” levels of control and feel — they’ll likely disappoint or even pose safety trade-offs. In that context, lighter and more control-oriented gloves would probably serve you better. The reason I'm docking stars is because they're marketed toward motorcycle users, and they;re very impractical. The durability seems pretty good, as I've taken them out and even had a couple of rocks/road debris hit the TPU windows with no scratches or punctures. They're not super comfortable to use at highway speeds, especially since they fit so loose, and they tend to press my front brake/clutch which is very dangerous. I personally cannot recommend this product for motorcycle use, unless you already have handguards, which will probably negate the need for these at all. Invest in some good heated gloves and/or heated grips, and I think you'll be much safer and better off in the end. For the price, I think this is a good value, but they're just not for me.

All ATV owners need these.
These gloves are fabulous. Anybody having fun on a ATV need these. With my hand warmer and these gloves, I don’t wear anything else on my hands. They are great.

handlebar mittens
Too big. If using during snow plowing they are a burden due to need to take hands off controls, and shift from forward to reverse. Might be okay if just riding around on trails, etc.
