Premium Brake Rotors by Centric
Centric® Premium Rotors are blank, 1-piece, direct replacement discs for your factory brake system.
These "black" rotors feature a special anti-corrosion e-coating that gives them their distinctive look and name, and are manufactured under QS and ISO quality system standards. Centric® Premium Rotors are particularly desirable in fleet or emergency vehicle applications when an upgrade to StopTech® Sport rotors is not possible.
Like many StopTech® 1-piece rotors, Centric® Premium Rotors offer several key advantages over stock rotors, E-coating, Double Disc Ground, Machined Finishes, Symmetric Vane Castings and Mill Balancing are just some of the processes we use.
Features
- E-Coat Finish - Centric® premium rotors utilize an electrocoating finish that provides long lasting corrosion protection. E-coating is a superior electro-statically applied finish designed to withstand 400 hours of salt water exposure without rusting. Finishes used by other manufacturers provide only minimal protection from the elements and are generally only effective for the shipping and storage portion of a rotor’s life. The addition of heat and moisture eliminates the effectiveness of many of those finishes resulting in immediate corrosion once installed in the vehicle.
- Double Disc Ground Braking Surface - Nearly all Centric® premium rotors feature a double disc ground, taper free finish. Double disc grinding ensures parallelism, eliminates run out and provides near perfect disc thickness variation (DTV). Double disc grinding leaves a non-directional finish on the friction surface area for more effective pad-rotor break in. This special finish also provides quieter and smoother stops.
- Fully Machined Hats - Premium rotors feature 100 percent fully machined finishes including rotor hats. This extra process provides better rotor balance and creates a cleaner, more finished looking component.
- Symmetric Vane Casting - The profile of the rotor's cooling vane affects its ability to dissipate heat. Ideally the vane should have the same thickness at the points where it connects to the inner and outer friction plates. This is accomplished with symmetric vane core castings that provide proper heat transfer and thermal efficiency. This thickness symmetry in the vane promotes the uniform transfer of heat from both friction plates into the cooling vanes.

Beautiful & Deeply Moving
Not many films have ever moved me to tears, but PERFECT DAYS somehow did. That is not because of any sadness or sentimentality in the film, but because of its almost miraculous way of trespassing into truth: PERFECT DAYS somehow manages to touch the hem of truth in our experience of life. Here we have shifting reflections of humanity's pendulum of thought and emotion, an approximation of truth in light of the existential dilemma of purpose and meaning. However, this dimension of the film is not underscored, but ever gently suggested until the ending's catharsis. It is a philosophical film without any real mention of philosophy, but with an impact that hits the soul.
If you're a Wim Wenders fan, PERFECT DAYS is basic viewing. If you know Koji Yakusho—among Japan's most illustrious actors, who gives an astonishing performance here, the kind that's one for the ages—you know this is essential viewing. If you know neither, it's worth introducing yourself to them.
I suppose at its simplest, PERFECT DAYS is a demonstration of how an older man, Hirayama, has discovered a life that can be well lived. It may not be my choice of a life or yours, but its possibility implies that we can all find the life that brings us peace and self-fulfillment, even if it's unconventional or not the easiest of lives. There are charming and sometimes humorous elements in the depiction of Hirayama's life, and as we learn about him—a "lesson" that, to me, was continually interesting—we're treated to Tokyo and various secondary characters who are distinctive and seem very real, indeed. And the more the film opens up to include those other characters, the more we learn about Hirayama, every tiny detail almost like a little gem.
Those who need lots of physical/plot action in movies may not be able to stick with Wenders' film long enough to see its strengths and feel its overwhelming power. But if you're a gracious enough filmgoer, and patient, you will be well paid for your time and effort by the perfect end of PERFECT DAYS.

What a great find!
These are pretty slick! I’m 72 yo female with that “sort of” yellow tint to my teeth (see what y’all get to look forward to?). I have porcelain crowns from canines on back, so canines to incisors are my natural teeth. Didn’t want to do the Opalescence crap, and decided on these Crest strips as I like their products. Great find! They work like a charm to whiten and got rid of the yellow tint after 3 applications. Easy peasy to use, no bad taste at all, and no sensitivity to my gums. And now my natural teeth match the crowns 😁 Highly recommend them!
