Precautions
If any of the following conditions are present, if you are undergoing any medical treatment, or if you are taking medication that causes photosensitivity, seek advice from your doctor before using Cosmelan 2:
- Sunburn (avoid exposure to UV radiation for 15 days before treatment)
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Skin diseases, allergies to any of the components of the formulation
- Family or personal history of keloid scarring
- Treatment with isotretinoin, antibiotics, hydroquinone
- Treatments with hydroxy acids (AHA/BHA/PHA) and vitamin A formulations
- Aspirin allergy
Side Effects
Some side effects can appear during use of this product, including swelling, pain, or inflammation. If these effects are experienced, we recommend reducing the frequency of use and/or layering with Melan Recovery.
