Potente e avvolgente in assaggio, nobilitato da un tannino di pregevole finezza e animato da una marcata sapidità.L’Alto Adige Lagrein Riserva DOC “Gries” 2018 della cantina Colterenzio prende forma dai grappoli raccolti a mano nei vigneti posti nell’area più antica e vocata per la coltivazione della nobile varietà autoctona. L’areale di Gries è caratterizzato da terreni alluvionali, caldi e sabbiosi, dove le rese per ettaro sono molto basse. La fermentazione è svolta in acciaio ed è seguita da una maturazione di 16 mesi tra botti grandi e barrique. Un rosso dotato di potenza ed eleganza, fedele testimone del territorio.
Il vino ideale per un pranzo che vede protagoniste le ricette della cucina di terra a base di carni rosse e selvaggina.

Very nice if you aren't too pick on actual color.

Colors may vary. I really liked this, it was the perfect size and that perfect combination of soft and fluffy, but not being "too fluffy" and looking like a shaggy dog that needed a haircut. My only complaint was the color. Supposed to be blue, and I know monitors and lighting distort stuff but this was an obvious turquoise/teal. Much much greener than I was looking for. I could have made any variant of an actual blue work from powder baby to practically navy, but not this. I had to return, but other than the color, this seemed to be a very nice rug. Sad the color was so off.
