Een Gibson SG zoals je 'm vroeger kocht! Deze SG Standard '61 is helemaal periode-correct met een bijzondere Translucent Teal Finish, Burstbucker elementen voor dat authentieke P.A.F. geluid. Mooi bijkomend voordeel is dan ook dat deze Gibson SG Standard '61 te gek klinkt en heerlijk speelt. De Gibson SG Standard kent een grappige ontstaansgeschiedenis. In eerste instantie ging deze gitaar vanaf 1961 door het leven als de Gibson Les Paul... Huh? Inderdaad, dit model was bedoeld als de opvolger voor de zware Gibson Les Paul. Met slechts een dunne mahonie body was dit het antwoord op de klachten over het gewicht van de Les Paul. Maar er was een klein probleem. Mr. Les Paul himself vond de gitaar spuuglelijk en niet representatief voor zijn visie op de ultieme gitaar. Hierop besloot hij zijn naam niet meer te verlenen aan het model. Er moest dus een nieuwe naam komen, en zo geschiedde! De Gibson SG groeide uit tot een van de meest legendarische gitaren in de geschiedenis van rockmuziek. Denk aan grote namen als Angus Young, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Duane Allman en meer recentelijk, Derek Trucks. Een Gibson SG heeft een zeer uitgesproken sound. Hij bijt, prikt goed door de muziek, en in de juist handen kan de gitaar zelfs zeer subtiel klinken. De Gibson SG is iconisch in elk opzicht en het is dan ook te gek dat deze gitaar nu ook weer verkrijgbaar is. Deze SG is uitgevoerd met een Slim Taper hals die erg fijn aanvoelt. Qua pickups is er gekozen voor de Burstbuckers, welke op een overtuigende manier het P.A.F. geluid reproduceren. De gitaar komt inclusief een prachtige soft shell case.

Failed Shortly After Purchase and Required Too Much Effort to Resolve
This product was purchased as a holiday gift for my spouse. Out of the box the product made a load mechanical noise (similar to a baseball card in bicycle spokes) – but it produced a nice heated frothed milk. Less than 3 months after first using the frother, it completely stopped frothing. The heating unit continued to work but the spinning disk did not move. I contacted the seller and within 48 hours they requested a video of proof that the frother was no longer working. I provided the requested video 6 hours after receipt of seller's request. Since then, I have not received any communications, and my follow up emails receive NO RESPONSE. Amazon should consider pulling this product and seller from their website. UPDATE: After multiple follow-up contacts over a month's time, manufacturer eventually issued a full refund.

Total game changer
Great frother. Nice capacity for a lot of foam. I've had it for a couple months. It's started out pretty quiet for about a month but I've noticed that the motor seems to be a little louder than usual but still a low sound. Not a big deal though. It works great. Just wanted to mention that the quality of milk matters. For example, I shop at Aldi and I get their oat milk. It doesn't froth as good as a higher quality name brand oat milk. Lower quality almond milk won't hardly froth at all. Get a high quality almond milk. Whole milk and 2% does great. I love the fact that I can warm my milk in case I want a hot matcha latte which I have often or golden milk. I also want to mention that I also use flavored creamer which makes a nice foam. Cold or hot This machine is a space saver. Easy to use. Easy to clean. You get two frothing elements which can be cleverly hidden under the frother when not in use. I use this almost every day. I really recommend this frother. It's a game changer
