Where Stage 3 fits in the KEP lineup
The Kennedy stage number scales with clamping force — each step up holds more torque but also requires more left-leg effort at the pedal. Stage 3 (this plate, 2600 lb) is the most popular competition-grade plate — enough clamping force for most serious builds, without the brutal pedal effort of Stage 4. If you're making over 200 hp at the flywheel or launching off the line hard, this is the right answer. Daily street drivers should look at Stage 1 (1700 lb) or Stage 2 (2100 lb).
