The Definitive Music Hub

Integrating flagship-tier digital and analogue stages, LUMIN P2 serves as an uncompromised centrepiece for all audio sources.

Why LUMIN P2

Building on the multi-award-winning foundation of P1, LUMIN P2 establishes a new reference for our 'Network Music Hub' family.

By combining our latest high-capacity processor with a flagship Dual ES9038PRO DAC stage, we’ve increased both processing headroom and precision.

This increased precision is supported by a dual-toroidal power supply and Lundahl output transformers, providing the high-current, isolated foundation required to maintain signal integrity from input to output.

It is the definitive 'all-in-one' — a world-class streamer, DAC, and pre-amplifier in a single, uncompromised chassis.

X-Series Heritage

LUMIN P2 inherits the core engineering found in our flagship series, combining high-performance digital architecture with our most refined analogue stages.

Dual ESS SABRE ES9038PRO

LUMIN P2 utilises these top-of-the-range 32-bit, 8-channel DAC chips in a dual-mono configuration. By dedicating a flagship-tier DAC to each channel, we maximise hardware precision and processing headroom. This represents our most advanced implementation of the SABRE platform, providing a robust digital foundation for the entire system.

Output Buffer Design

The fully balanced dual-mono analogue output stage features the same Lundahl transformers found in our top-tier players. This design has been a cornerstone of every flagship LUMIN model, ensuring maximum signal isolation and integrity.

Dual-toroidal Power Supply

The generous P2 chassis allows us to bring the X-series specification toroids inboard for a streamlined, single-box installation. This layout retains all the performance benefits of separate analogue and digital power rails while achieving a cleaner, more integrated aesthetic.

Included Remote Control

Our tactile infrared remote control allows easy change of input, volume adjustment, playlist navigation and more.

The exceptionally well-constructed acrylic and zinc LUMIN remote is made in Austria and is entirely Roon Ready.

The infrared receiver built in to LUMIN P2 is compatible with universal remote controls, phones and automation systems.

Flexible setup options

Use as a streamer, a DAC, a pre-amplifier or all three!

Option 1 - Streaming DAC

LUMIN P2 can be used like all other LUMIN players. With its ES9038PRO DAC chips, DSD512/PCM384 support, Femto Clock System, Fibre Networking, toroidal power supply, and Leedh Processing, P2 is second only to LUMIN X2 in pure streaming ability.

Option 2 - Hi-Fi Hub

Connect all your stereo sources to LUMIN P2 and attach a power amplifier and you've got everything you need for an incredible music system.

Option 3 - 2-channel TV System

No need for an AV Receiver. Simply attach your HDMI sources to LUMIN P2 and P2 to your TV. With HDMI ARC, all your audio comes through your main speakers.

The perfect partnership

Pairing LUMIN P2 with the LUMIN Amp creates a streamlined, ultra-high-performance audio system.

By eliminating a traditional pre-amplifier, you remove an entire stage of electronics that often adds noise and coloration, bringing you closer to the original recording.

Leedh Processing lossless volume control ensures that even at low listening levels, your music retains its full dynamic range and detail, making a separate analogue pre-amp redundant.

Use LUMIN P2 as your system's hub to manage nine digital and analogue inputs, with seamless switching through the Lumin App

The LUMIN Amp's high input impedance is specifically designed to be driven directly by LUMIN sources, maximizing the transparency of LUMIN P2’s dual-mono DAC design.

Latest processing system

LUMIN P2 features our latest processing platform, providing a significant increase in capacity and resampling flexibility.

This extra headroom allows for more flexible upsampling options for every supported format and ensures that P2 is future-ready for years of firmware enhancements.

Spellbinding
Format: Hardcover
This is a wonderful art book for a spellbinding animation series. Making the series took 6 years, hundreds of artists, and hundreds of thousands of drawings. This book showcases a selection of some really beautiful illustrations. There are loads of character and background designs inside, in sketches and in their finished coloured form. The main characters like Aang and others come with cool animation sequences created with pencils. Also included are many of the discarded concepts which were difficult to animate or doesn't suit the story. Appa had some really awesome spiral horns but were discarded, unfortunately. The character drawings are superb. Just by looking at their different expressions you can pretty much guess their characteristics. Besides the characters which includes the town folks and soldiers, there are also drawings for many miscellaneous stuff like storyboards, airships, hybrid animals, wanted posters, promotional posters, chibi (or super deformed) style and random doodles from meetings. Did I mention the background paintings? The world created is so beautiful! The whole book is annotated heavily by Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino. They talk about everything on production, from creating the pilot episode to Nickelodeon approving the final season. You can see and read about their influences and inspiration everywhere, from Buddhism, Studio Ghibli, Gainax, Chinese martial arts, etc. It's very interesting to see how they apply what they learned from research to their drawings and animation. This is a fantastic art book for the series and fans, which should appeal to anyone who hasn't watch the series. Good art appeals to all. Highly recommended! (There are more pictures of the book on my blog. Just visit my Amazon profile for the link.)

Awesome. Simply Awesome.
Format: Hardcover
I have been a fan of the show since I watched the premiere of it all those years ago. The first episode had me hooked and I was so sad to see it end. I bought the dvds immediately and while those are just as good, I still felt like I was missing some of the artwork that went into the show. I saw this book and thought about getting it, but wasn't entirely convinced when I looked at the preview. It looked cool thats for sure, but it didn't really show what was in the book and I did not want a book of still shots from the show. On a whim I bought it because my curiosity was to much to handle and I am so glad I did! It is not a bunch of still shots from the show, but delves into how they went through the process of getting the show on the air, the gradual development of the avatar world including the characters, bending and cross-bred animals, and how the story continually evolved until the final chapter. And with each step of the way there are concept drawings by Bryan Konietzko and other equally talented artists that really allow you to dive into their imagination and creativity. Each page was a constant struggle between staying on the page and examining every drawing or hurrying onto the next page. And of course the creative charge that it gives you is insane because all you want to do afterwards is draw, draw, draw! I would not recommend this book to people who want to get to work on time because I know I was late for the following days. In summary, if you love the animated series or animation in general- don't even think about it and get this book right now. You won't be sorry you did. I know I'm not!

Beautiful Art and Great Insight for All Fans
Format: Hardcover
I'm a huge fan of the series. Not just for the story, character depth or enticing music.. but the art. It's what hooked me the first episode I saw. I mean, c'mon, you can't deny how gorgeous the premiere looked! So yes, I JUMPED at the opportunity to grab a copy of this baby. The cover is quality. Then you open up to the map of the Avatar world followed by an introduction given by M. Night... And then, the revealings of Avatar's beginnings come to light. One of the things I have to stress about this book is the amount of insight about the behind the scenes work. For the fans who want to know how this deep story came to light, they tell you and they don't hold back. Everything from insights on the difference between American Animation studios and Asian Animation studios to momo going from a robotic monkey to a lemur explained.. It's really great and helped me appreciate the show a lot more. This makes up the first of five chapters. After this, it comes on to highlight sketches from each episode in chapters made up of each season. Some explained in depth, such as "Jet" and "The Blue Spirit" and others just illustrations with very minimal explanation, such as "The Deserter". (Season one). They include small extras about the DVD covers and the chibi Avatar animations as well. The artwork is beautifully colored and high quality ensured. It looks absolutely great. My only nitpick about the book is how short it feels. At times, I wanted more artwork and more details, or wanted some of the art featured to be larger so I can gasp at the details. All in all though, this book really shows how much thought, love and care was put in and the vast amount of talent of those who worked on it. Boy do they have talent. The art speaks for itself. Even friends who aren't fans of the show loved looking through the book. A must buy for any fan or anyone interested in this line of work for that matter. Go! Buy it! The Avatar will blow you away! Eh heh...

Best Supplemental Book EVER!
Format: Hardcover
This is probably the best Avatar related product I ever bought apart from the three seasons that comprise the series. The book details everything you would want to hear about especially if you are interested in "Behind the Scenes" things like I am. This book details pretty much the entire production process. It features how Bending was inspired, early character designs, story ideas, even how they came up with the hybrid animals. I love how the creators talk about each character, and every single episode is talked about in this book, even if they only take a page to talk about. This book impressed me beyond words. I loved each page, each drawing, some of the early work on Iroh looks really cool. If you are a fan of the animated series this will make a phenomenal addition to your collection of Avatar related memorabilia. It's a wonderful book and I plan to read it many more times. If I could put one criticism to this book it would be that there is no explanation of where Zuko's mom went but I can live with that until the next comic book comes out.

Gorgeous.
Format: Hardcover
This artbook is utterly beautiful. When I first tore open the box and laid my eyes upon the product, I literally gasped in amazement. After watching The Last Airbender movie, simply thinking about Avatar filled my body with disgust and made my gag reflex quite sensitive. I couldn't even watch the show without having terrifying flashbacks of the disgraceful film. Thankfully, looking at this book reopened my eyes to the sheer brilliance of the true series. Every single word written in this book is basically pie for an avatard like me. Bottom line: I ate it all up. And I loved it. This book is filled with details about the series, how the makers came up with their ideas, what inspired them, and so much more. What REALLY put the icing on the cake is the artwork (duh h4x0rzzzzz, it's an artbook). Every little pencil sketch, drawing, painting, left me in awe. So stunning! Most of the time when I buy books, I'll read/look at them once or twice and then it spends the rest of its book-life sitting on my bookshelf, collecting book-dust. I can guarantee you that this is a treasure that won't have the opportunity to sit still. Definitely worth the buy!
