Overview of the Package

The ARISE Life Skills Package for Middle School consists of life skills curriculum designed to provide life skills for middle school students preparing them for success in high school as productive young adults. Middle schoolers face many challenges involving expressing individuality, dealing with social pressures communicating with teachers, confronting bullies, bouncing back from disappointments, prioritizing needs and overcoming speed bumps. The curriculum included in this program strengthens the youth’s ability in the following areas:

  • Managing anger and stress
  • Dealing with violence and conflict
  • Learning to manage time
  • Building self-esteem and self-worth
  • Learning drug resistance skills
  • How to find and keep a job
  • Improving one’s health and hygiene
  • The importance of nutrition and exercise in life
  • How to lead a happy and meaningful life
  • Why staying in school and getting an education provides lifelong benefits
  • Managing money


Package Format

  • Used for grades 6-8.
  • Consists of 21 curricula, plus life skills educational posters and positivity cards.
  • Each lesson can stand alone. Start with whatever topic you want.
  • There is an Instructor’s Manual and a Learner’s Workbook for each topic.
  • Lessons engage the youth in interactive group discussions and hands on activities.
  • Every lesson is self-contained, and no additional material is needed.
  • High interest but low reading level.

Asurion coverage was worth every penny!
Bought a window AC in 2020 and was offered Asurion coverage at checkout. Paid $39 for the 4 year plan and never expceted it would be worth the money paid. Honestly, never expected to even use it. That said...the AC failed about 2 years later so I made a claim online. The claim went in but required a call to an Asurion rep (very nice guy on the phone). He asked a few questions then told me the claim was approved. Total time to for the entire process was about 15 mins. I had the choice of having it repaired or a refund check. I asked for the refund. An emailed pre-paid UPS label was recieved a few minites later and the guy said they'd mail me a check when the UPS package was received, so I dropped it off at UPS. Three weeks later I had a check in my hand for $399 (the excact cost I paid for the AC unit 2 years before minus taxes paid). Really easy process and quick time to receive the check. The only thing to note is that if you make a purchase like that (large electronic or home appliance)...keep that box and packaging. Luckily I had it all and just popped it back into the box for shipment. Not sure how I would have dealt with that if I hadn't saved the box. Thank you Asurion, for delivering on your promise of quick and easy extended warranty payment. I'll defintely purchase the plan again with my replacement AC!
