The JBL Studio 2 6IC is a discreet, high-performance in-ceiling loudspeaker designed to deliver clear, detailed sound without dominating your living space. At its core, the Studio 2 6IC features a 6.5-inch PolyPlas™ woofer, producing smooth midrange and deep, controlled bass, paired with a 1-inch CMMD® Lite dome tweeter mounted on a High-Definition Imaging (HDI™) waveguide for crisp, accurate high frequencies. The tweeter can be angled towards the listening position, and a three-position level control allows fine adjustment to suit the room’s acoustics.
With a wide frequency response, 8-ohm impedance, and 86 dB sensitivity, the Studio 2 6IC works beautifully with the Sonos Amp to deliver balanced, room-filling sound.
Installation is straightforward, thanks to JBL’s XL-2 mounting system, which fits a range of ceiling thicknesses securely. The magnetic, zero-bezel grille is paintable, ensuring the speaker blends seamlessly with any décor
