The AM Auto Ford Transit 2015+ Passenger Side Sliding Door Fixed Window (FT14-RS1 P) is a modern and stylish camper window designed to fit the factory window cutout on Ford Transit van models. This single-pane glass window features solar privacy glass bordered by a black ceramic frit, providing a sleek and seamless appearance within the factory body lines.

Note: These windows are large and can only be shipped via truck freight. They are shipped directly from AM Auto and cannot be picked up from the manufacturer. If you cancel your order after your windows have shipped, you will be responsible for the shipping costs plus a 30% restocking fee.

What’s Needed to Install a Bonded Window?

  • Sikaflex P2G Adhesive
    1-2 tubes for small and medium-sized windows
    2 tubes for large windows

  • CRL Car Window Primer
    1 bottle (3.4 oz) for up to 4 large windows and 2 small windows
    2 bottles (3.4 oz each) for full window sets (6-8 windows)

  • Trim lock or window gasket for the cut metal edge (compatible options available in the Frequently Bought Together section)

Installation Guide

  1. Cut the Panel: Carefully cut along the van’s interior curvature to create the window opening.
  2. Smooth the Edges: Use a grinder to clean and smooth the cut edges.
  3. Apply Primer: Coat the cut edges and van surface to prevent rust and improve adhesion.
  4. Apply Urethane: Spread urethane adhesive on the van body for a secure, watertight bond.
  5. Install the Window: Position and press the window firmly into place, ensuring proper alignment.

For best results, professional installation is recommended. Improper installation may cause leaks or structural issues. Instructions are not included.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
