Description
This high grit stropping paste is a custom formulation created by Sydney Strop Co. It is designed to be used in conjunction with our premium leather strops for optimal sharpening results.
The paste features a special blend of Aluminium Oxide with a rating of about 0.5 micron, equivalent to 60,000 Grit. This fine abrasive paste is ideal for polishing an existing edge to a mirror finish, enhancing the sharpness and refinement of your blades.
When applied to the leather strop, the unique blend of the stropping paste helps keep the strop soft and conditioned, ensuring its longevity and performance over time.
Note that stropping paste is the final abrasive used in the sharpening process. While it excels at polishing and refining an edge, it is not aggressive enough to restore a dull edge. For optimal results, the edge being sharpened should have already gone through the finest sharpening stones before using the stropping paste.
