The Tamiya 1/35 Sd.Kfz. 251/1 Ausf.D Half-Track (35195) reproduces the definitive production variant of Germany's most important armoured personnel carrier — the Ausf.D, which introduced simplified construction techniques while maintaining the essential characteristics of the type. The 251/1 Ausf.D replaced the curved hull sections of earlier variants with simpler flat panels, making production faster and cheaper while the vehicle remained equally effective in service.

Tamiya's 1/35 kit captures the Ausf.D's characteristic flat-panel hull, bench seating, and MG34 mounts with excellent accuracy. An essential kit for any German armoured forces collection.
