It has substantial nutritional value for those who choose to eat the seeds or drink the oil that comes from the seeds. One of the best properties of chia seed is that it is vegan and it may contain over 30% oil. It is a famous vegan source for the essential omega-3 fatty acid, alpha linolenic acid. Chia Seed contains up to three times the omega-3 content of most normal grains. Omega-3 oils, along with other essential fatty acids, help absorb fat soluble vitamins, including vitamin A, D, E and K. Vegan Chia seed oil is also found to be a nutritional source of linoleic acid, which is an essential fatty acid the body can’t manufacture on its own.*
The Chia Seed oil used in our product is organic, cold-pressed & unrefined and it comes in vegan capsules that are made from plant cellulose instead of the commonly used gelatin.
