In the shadows of New York City searching for his enemies, the shine of his sharp blades on metal plates composing an armor that covers part of his legs, arms, and shoulders, challenges anyone on its path. With cold and merciless eyes under a silver samurai helmet that hides his face, and wearing a black and gray tunic with a rustic cape, the main archenemy of the most famous turtle brothers on pop culture gets his statue "Shredder BDS - TMNT - Art Scale 1/10" by Iron Studios, presenting the fearsome leader of the criminal ninja group Foot Clan, over a diorama pedestal formed by beams and rusted pipes of an old brick wall, referring to the worn-out scenery of NY sewers.
The main antagonist of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles group in every media of the franchise, Shredder is Oroku Saki, a member of the Foot Clan in Japan, he incriminated his former rival Hamato Yoshi with the attempt of murdering a visiting sensei. Forced into exile in New York, Yoshi lived in the sewers with four pet turtles. Sake took the leadership of the Foot Clan and became one of its deadliest warriors, starting to operate with his ninja clan in the U.S. as Shredder, and commanding multiple criminal activities. When he found Yoshi still alive and tried to kill him with a viscous substance called Mutagen or Ooze, he transformed Yoshi into an anthropomorphic rat, just like him, his turtles also mutated, getting humanoid bodies and intelligence. Yoshi, with the changed name of Splinter, acting as their father figure and sensei, trained his turtles in ninjutsu to fight his old enemy and his followers.
Created in the comic books by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, the simple but striking visual of Shredder, with his armor vaguely based on a samurai’s armor, and blades inspired by the ones seen on large trapezoidal cheese graters made him one of the most memorable villains of pop culture in the 80s and was in large part responsible for the success of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as a multimedia franchise. Revealed on SDCC 2022 by Iron Studios and seen in more detail on the Inside Iron Studios Day show, already available for Pre-Order, the statue of Shredder perfectly adds to the composition of a diorama set with the other statues of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo BDS - TMNT - Art Scale 1/10, also individually available for Pre-Order. Check out the stylized Toy Art versions "TMNT - MiniCo", and soon other news from the TMNT universe by Iron Studios.

Durable and Rugged
Color: Black
I've had it for a few weeks now. It was a replacement I bought after buying several vinyl type covers. This one is a good gauge of plastic and rubber. The rubber seems pretty strong and it protects the iPad well on the corners and back. The back is mostly covered except for the Apple logo in the center. In addition to protecting the corners and also protects the camera lens as the rubber after insulation is a little bit higher than the lens so when you put this down, it's not going to scratch the lens. It has a pen slot, which I like and plenty of room to grip the device if I'm carrying it from place a place or when I'm using it, I can grip the edge and not touch the screen. One of the things I would've liked included is a screen protector, but nothing covers the screen. I also miss the folio type cover because the screen will gather dust now. But, Apple screens are fairly durable so I'm not too worried about breaking it. It was easy to install. It came in as it came in a couple of pieces that you just pressed together. All the controls are obvious as they are under the rubber, but they look like keys. One more thing I might bring up is the charging port. It's easy to get to even though it's a little deep. On my iPad the touch sensor is on the on off button and it is a little harder to do than if I didn't have any case on it, but that is to be expected. It also has an easel that unfolds from the back if you want to sit it up, but I don't use it for watching anything since I have a real TV set. So far I like it and I'm glad I bought this as I don't think it's going to wear out as quickly from me handling it as the others did. The value was good as long as it lasts.
