Second, what helped shape this book was the realization that those of us who lived through the origins of Schoenstatt in Chile had the duty to bear witness to that time of grace—and, in many ways, of trials as well. From these two currents, the text gradually took shape.

God has been present in our history, is here now, and will continue to be in the future.

Este texto surgió a partir de varios impulsos. Primero, el hecho que se me hicieron diversas entrevistas sobre mi experiencia con el padre Kentenich, ya que yo tuve la oportunidad de conocerlo muy temprano. Durante toda mi vida, he tratado de seguir sus pasos y de contribuir a la misión de la cual él nos hizo partícipes.

En segundo lugar, contribuyó a dar forma a este texto, el constatar que aquellos que vivimos el origen de Schoenstatt en Chile, debíamos dar testimonio de ese tiempo de gracias y, en muchos sentidos, también de pruebas.  A partir de estas dos vertientes, poco a poco se fue concretando su realización.

Dios ha estado en nuestra historia, está también ahora y lo estará en el futuro.
