Why are some nations rich and others poor, divided by wealth and poverty, health and sickness, food and famine? Is it culture, the weather, or geography that determines prosperity or poverty? As Why Nations Fail shows, none of these factors is either definitive or destiny. Drawing on fifteen years of original research, Daron Acemoglu and James Robinson conclusively show that it is our man-made political and economic institutions that underlie economic success (or the lack of it). Korea, to take just one example, is a remarkably homogenous nation, yet the people of North Korea are among the poorest on earth while their brothers and sisters in South Korea are among the richest. The differences between the Koreas is due to the politics that created those two different institutional trajectories. Acemoglu and Robinson marshal extraordinary historical evidence from the Roman Empire, the Mayan city-states, the Soviet Union, the United States, and Africa to build a new theory of political economy with great relevance for the big questions of today, among them: - Will China's economy continue to grow at such a high speed and ultimately overwhelm the West? - Are America's best days behind it? Are we creating a vicious cycle that enriches and empowers a small minority?
"This book will change the way people think about the wealth and poverty of nations . . . as ambitious as Jared Diamond's Guns, Germs, and Steel."--BusinessWeek

Great little air pump for the car! Easy to use and versatile!
This is a great little product! You set the psi limit for your object and it stops as soon as it is reached! No guessing about it. I have it in my care for emergencies but so far it has been useful for pumping up the grandkids tires, balls, floats, etc! It has several adapters for different things! Easy to use and fast!!

Complete, Heavy-Duty Kit That’s Great to Have on Hand
Color: Vivid Orange
This ETENWOLF tire repair kit is one of those things you hope you don’t need—but are really glad to have when you do. It’s a well-rounded kit with everything needed to handle common tire punctures on cars, trucks, motorcycles, or even ATVs.
The tools feel sturdy and durable, not flimsy like some cheaper kits. The handles provide a good grip, which makes the repair process easier, especially when working with tougher tires. The plugs seal punctures effectively and hold up well once installed.
The bright orange case makes it easy to find in your trunk or garage, and everything stays organized inside so you’re not digging around for pieces.
It’s also compact enough to keep in a vehicle without taking up much space, making it a great emergency backup.
Suggestions for improvement:
Including a quick instruction guide or diagram would be helpful for beginners. Also, adding a small pair of gloves could make roadside use a bit cleaner and easier.
Overall, a reliable and well-equipped tire repair kit that’s a smart addition to any vehicle.

Not left stranded anymore!
Color: Vivid Orange
I bought two of these tire repair kits to put one in each vehicle. I also bought two new jacks for each vehicle. Generally them jacks that come with your vehicle aren’t no good anyways. I had a flat tire way out in the country and I couldn’t get my tire off, with that cheap wrench. I couldn’t get the car jacked up anyways. left me stranded. Not anymore I got two new four-way lug wrenches two new jacks and a tire, patch kit, and two of them little air compressors that you hook up to your cigarette lighter..
