The Outcast Summit is purpose-built for the angler who plans the trip around the topo map, not the boat ramp. Under 7 pounds total, packs down into an included compression sack, and rides comfortably on the outside of a pack frame for the hike in to high alpine lakes, beaver ponds, and remote stillwater that bigger tubes can't reach. The Sage colorway blends into the backcountry — no neon orange flashing through the trees.
Outcast didn't cut corners to hit the weight. The Summit uses integrated urethane AIREcells for puncture-resistant flotation, a U-boat shape for legitimate tracking and control once you're on the water, and a mesh seat with inflatable backrest for comfort that holds up across a full day of casting. Two Summit II valves make inflation and deflation fast, and the 600 poly / 420 nylon outer fabric handles the abrasion of being strapped to a pack and dragged through willows.
