The Retain series short ram intake for the Subaru WRX and STI features zero-memory polyurethane couplers and clear coated and mandrel bent polished aluminum piping. Every Takeda intake is capped with their top of the line ProDry S dry flow oil-free synthetic media filter for the ultimate in convenience, performance and engine protection.

All Takeda intakes are flow tested and dyno tuned in house with an emphasis on mid-range power, giving your WRX or STI more usable power and torque response in daily and real-world driving situations (15hp and 32ft/lbs of torque). Takeda intakes come complete with all installation hardware as well as step by step photo instructions for a simple bolt-on installation.

It is worth purchasing a Protection Plan on an unfamiliar item
Bought a 3-year protection plan for a nut milk maker machine for $5.99. It was a fairly new kitchen item in our household and we were not familiar with the brand. So, I bought the plan for a piece (peace) of mind. The machine worked nicely for about 18-20 months with daily use until it tripped the circuit outlet. My initial chat with Asurion did not go as I expected due to discrepancy on their end as they see a protection plan for the nut milk maker as a sporting goods valued between $100-$199, not as a kitchen item valued between $30-$39.99. ( I had bought 3 different protection plan on th same day for multiple items purchased on Prime Days). They were looking at a different plan and I was unable to get them to "scroll over" to the appropriate protection plan. I tried again on a different day during the first hour of their contact hours and had a cheerful Asurion agent who was able to find the appropriate kitchen item protection plan. It was a simple and thorough conversation and transaction. I was refunded within hours after I packed up and dropped off the damaged item out to UPS. Moral of the story: Asurion Protection Plan is worth it and contact them at the start of their first day shift, not at the end of their evening shift.
