Domaine des Tourelles Skin Wine 2023Merweh Old vines (average of 150 years old). Light amber in color. Rich in flowers, orange blossoms, jasmine, and tea on the nose. On the palate we can discern some smooth elegant tannins that come from the maceration with the skin, while displaying a taste of apricot, pears, and hints of saltiness and minerality. Region: Vineyards are located in Bsharreh region, North of Lebanon. Altitude: 1,500 m (4,921 feet) above sea level. Grape varieties: Merweh

- Age of the Vines: old vines (average of 150 years old).
- Yield: 20 hl/ha. Soil: clay-limestone.
- Irrigation: Dry Farmed.
- Harvest: 100% manual in boxes with intensive selection in the vineyards.
- Fermentation: Grapes are manually harvested early in the morning then transferred to the winery in separate boxes. Only ripened and healthy berries are separated from the peduncle (rafle) then moved into 200 l clay jars for slow fermentation. Regular punch-down (pigeage) is done to extract color, tannins, and structure for the final stage. Clear wine is finally separated at the end of the fermentation then aged in stainless steel vats for last treatment before bottling. Malolactic fermentation is inhibited in this wine to keep as much as possible a solid acidity in its structure.
- Alcoholic strength: 11% vol.

Tips broke in the binding post

UPDATE:
Two tips broke off when unplugging them from the binding post and are now lodged in. Inexcusable and an utterly poor product.
Solid connection in the binding post with no wobble or wiggle. They require some force to insert into the binding post, but once they're in they remain snug. I also tried removing and reinserting a few times and the connection remained solid. I've used other plugs in the past that have a softer tip and easily deform after one or two insertions. These do not have that issue.

Does the job, easy use, a bit bulky not exactly as described

Bare wire can be intolerable to work with. Banana plugs make a positive secure connection. These plugs are a touch bulky. Nice to not have to deal with small screws. Use as large of gauge wire as possible. The description says no unintentional disconnections. I beg to differ the bite of teeth aren’t as good as described. Used a 16 gauge pure copper speaker wire and a teenager taught me how secure the wire really is by tugging on the wire not the banana plug pulling the wire free. It does the job, it’s not the latest and greatest. If you need easy get these. If you want slim secure banana plugs buy the small screw type.

Fully gold plated inside and out! I initially got the amazon basic connectors for the same price, but was disappointed in the tiny burgundy positive label they had. It was also very dirty inside the connector and it wasn’t gold plated through out the connector. These are excellent in quality and have a bright red ban on the connector! You wont be disappointed and beats out Sewell connectors for the price!

Decent, but be careful of frequent use.

The looks are very nice, functional if left alone once assembled. After that I would leave them alone otherwise you risk the main male portion just coming loose of the housing, sound quality is decent, nothing to write home about, but again, not very durable. If they could fix that 1 thing, these would be very good buy and value, the rest of each plug is hefty and well made.
