Boca DOC 2022 by Tenute Guardasole is a high-altitude volcanic Nebbiolo from the historic appellation of Boca, in Alto Piemonte. Grown between 460 and 490 meters with southern exposure, this wine combines 80% Nebbiolo and 20% Vespolina, expressing the tension and minerality of ancient porphyry-rich volcanic soils.
Certified organic and harvested by hand in early October, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks followed by approximately 25 days of maceration. The wine ages for 34 months, including at least 18 months in large oak casks, developing structure and aromatic depth while preserving alpine freshness.
The result is an elegant and mineral-driven mountain red — fresh, savory and finely tannic, shaped by volcanic soils and strong diurnal temperature shifts.
