Harmony - Rivage Corse II (#HARMONY_01)

About: Chantal Parise’s oil paintings are full of colour, movement and texture. One can feel the emotion of the landscapes: beautiful fields of poppies or sea views from the South of France and Corsica. Her colour harmonies are very subtle and appealing, whether it is an abstract painting or a more figurative subject. Her technique of colored layers, often starting her first layer in an opposite range of colors from the ending ones, offers a soft light texture to her work therefore without suffering of the thickness of oil. The viewer is immersed in a sea of colour.

Chantal lives in Lyon after having experienced the life in Brazil, Tunisia, Iran or Greece. She started her career as a dancer, and kept from that period a real taste for movement. Her paintings are exhibited since many years in France, Switzerland and in many galleries in Lyon, Les Baux de Provence, Aix-en-Provence and Corsica.
