The black pieces are finished using a meticulous ebonisation process, which gives them the rich, dark appearance of genuine ebony while remaining cost-effective.

The accompanying chessboard elevates the ensemble with its luxurious high-gloss finish. Constructed from premium wooden veneers of black anegre and maple, it has been expertly made by the world-renowned artisans at Rechapados Ferrer in Spain.

To complete the set, we’ve included a finely crafted chess piece storage case, made from laminated dark wenge-coloured wood. Produced by the respected family-run workshop of Manopoulos in Greece, this case combines function and finesse.

Finally, the set includes a classic-style analogue chess clock, completing the package for serious or casual players alike. Finished in a glossy black casing, this clock features traditional wind-up mechanisms, meaning no batteries are required.
