Lee Conmigo Publishing House is launching a new children's book titled: Discovering My Island, an invitation to children and their families to visit, discover, and explore the towns of Puerto Rico in search of adventure, quality time, and, above all, a connection with our culture, nature, and traditions.
This new title is written by Gianlee Márquez Hernández and illustrated by Juanki Acevedo, educators, founders, directors, and managers of Lee Conmigo Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing children to reading from an early age.
Through colorful illustrations and a narrative full of curiosity and affection for the Island, Discovering My Island seeks to foster a love of reading, strengthen family bonds, and awaken in children the desire to learn about and appreciate the flora, fauna, and cultural richness of Puerto Rico. It is an invitation to create memories, the kind that last a lifetime.
