Behold the stunning Mt. Fuji and Waves Hamon, a breathtaking masterpiece that merges the majestic silhouette of Mount Fuji with the undulating pattern of waves. This striking design is skillfully crafted by one of the finest Yoshihiro knife masters in Sakai, Japan. This knife is not just a tool but a work of art, created by Master Ikeda, who flawlessly blends refined artistry with the highest level of craftsmanship.

Our handmade Yoshihiro Honyaki knives showcase extraordinary skill, forged from the finest steel using traditional methods refined over centuries of Japanese sword making. Each knife is meticulously crafted by master artisans, many with over 50 years of experience, ensuring unparalleled expertise. Honyaki translates to "true forged," symbolizing the pinnacle of Japanese knife craftsmanship. A single piece of White Steel #1 is heated in hearths reaching extreme temperatures before being quenched in water, achieving an impressive hardness of 65 on the Rockwell scale. This demanding process produces knives that balance exceptional performance with visual beauty.

Each Yoshihiro Honyaki knife is finished with a handcrafted premium ebony wood handle, accented by a natural water buffalo horn bolster. A protective wooden sheath, known as a Saya, is included to safeguard the blade and maintain its elegance when not in use.

The Sakimaru Takobiki is a traditional long slicing knife designed for precision cuts of sashimi and delicate fish preparation. Its extended, slender blade allows for clean, uninterrupted strokes that preserve texture and freshness. The distinctive sakimaru tip offers enhanced control and refinement, making it especially favored by professional sushi chefs. This knife excels in environments where accuracy and presentation matter most, combining classical form with exceptional cutting performance.

Knife can oxidize without proper care. Recommended for professional use only.

Doesn't really slip on too well.

Doesn't really slip on too well. Also, since the heel is ridged it unintentionally allows my heel to slip out while walking.

Really like these for casual summer outfits
Size: 10.5, Color: White
These are really nice kicks. Stylish, comfortable, and eye catchy for sure. Not too heavy, good price, and fit well. These are great, casual white shoes for a summer outfit. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars as these do pick up and hold onto dirt and smudges more than I’d like to see. Yes, I know, white shoes are magnets for this stuff, but these tend to scuff and discolor more than I would have assumed. I live in an area with lots of bad weather most of the year so I only get a chance to wear them for a few months of the year unless I want to brave the wet and muddy weather. If you live in an area that has lots of sun and are willing to put these to the test and clean them often, I would say go for it.

Poor quality

Bottom of shoes after three weeks worn already have a hole in it! Didn’t expect to have to toss them away so soon.
