Bulk Beads for the BeadBug™ and BeadBlaster™ 24Beads in bulk bottles for use with the BeadBug, BeadBug 6 and BeadBlaster 24 Homogenizers from Benchmark Scientific. Empty tubes sold separately. Beads available in bulk include: Glass beads (0. 1, 0. 5, or 1. 0 mm) in 200g bottle Triple Pure zirconium beads which are acid washed, heat treated and tested to be free of nucleases (0. 1, 0. 5, 1. 0, 1. 5, or 3. 0 mm) in 250g bottle. Recommended for most applications. Steel beads which are acid washed.

Beads available in bulk include:
- Glass beads (0.1, 0.5, or 1.0 mm) in 200g bottle
- Triple Pure™ zirconium beads which are acid washed, heat treated and tested to be free of nucleases (0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, or 3.0 mm) in 250g bottle. Recommended for most applications.
- Steel beads which are acid washed. (2.8 mm) 1,000 balls. Great for homogenization of hard samples and dry grinding!
- Garnet Shards (~0.5 mm) in a 250g bottle. Sharp, irregularly shaped garnet shards are great for cutting through rubbery samples, especially when a larger bead is also used.
Different bead-mill homogenizers have different specifications. We therefore do not recommend substituting the beads or tubes from one homogenizer for use in another homogenizer unless you are certain that they will work properly.
