Description

Spada GoFast Racer by AeroicDesigned by Dr James Hammond at Aeroic, James shares the following: I designed the Spada 118 model to be a faster, more aerodynamically advanced improvement on the Redshift 118. After much contemplation and discussion, and by utilising valuable feedback from the top pilots who flew the original aircraft, the Spada was created. Superior in every aspect, this is a slimmer, lighter, stronger, and more robust bottom loading version of the initial model.

I designed the Spada 118 model to be a faster, more aerodynamically advanced improvement on the Redshift 118. After much contemplation and discussion, and by utilising valuable feedback from the top pilots who flew the original aircraft, the Spada was created. Superior in every aspect, this is a slimmer, lighter, stronger, and more robust bottom-loading version of the initial model.

With numerous enhancements to the original design specifications, including tougher layups and a standard double sine wave spar, the new super-light Aeroic carbon tissue-skinned tailplanes render the model robust and capable of enduring the rigours of F3f racing.

With its meticulously calculated Optimum Lift Distribution (ODR) crescent wing planform, low drag/high response aerofoil configuration, and high aspect ratio wings (19:1), the Spada is swift, nimble, easy to fly, exhibits no bad habits, demonstrates excellent stability with flaps, and is simple to land.

Test flying was conducted in the USA by Aeroic Test Pilot Red Jensen, and the model fulfils its ‘GoFast’ designation. It is faster overall, accelerates instantly, turns more tightly, and has greater energy retention potential than any model I have ever designed. In short, it is a pure-bred racing plane that is fully capable of F3f competition use, yet at an affordable price.

Available in the following options: Spada – Glider version or E-Spada featuring a different German-designed E-Fuselage. Spinner size: 36mm

Layup Choices: “L” Light, “S” (Slope), and “SS” (Super Strong)

Construction: GFK/CFK Hybrid (Aeroic)
Wings: Carbon with Aeroic Sine Wave Spar - SS version has a double carbon/double ASWS
Fuse: Strong Carbon/Kevlar Reinforced Glass (2.4GHz friendly)
Tailplanes – carbon tissue skinned.

The wings on all of Aeroic's models are the result of decades of model design and refinement, There is no other models with this planform or airfoils. And this refinement really shows in the performance.

The "sinusoidal" wave spar creates a very strong and torsional wing:

Pretty funny
Format: Hardcover
The book gives us a more focused outlook on Chieg Wiggum. Full of its funny moments, I`d recomend this to huge Simpsons fans as it seems the shows writers managed to give us another hit.

Not the best, but not the worst either
Format: Hardcover
By any means not the funniest book in the series, only the one on Krusty the Clown was more un-funny; but still a worthy addition to your collection and, just like all the others from the series providing a retrospective of anecdotes you might have forgotten.
