What makes it special?
Cutting edge performance in combination with minimalistic and timeless aesthetics - This is the classic Houdini recipe and Ride Insulated Pants are no exception. These pants offer the perfect combination of effective weather protection and exceptional comfort. Skiing, snowboarding and everyday mountain life, Ride Insulated Pants keeps you warm through all your winter adventures.

How does it work?
Women's Ride Insulated Pants are made with the light, strong and smooth Flow 2L and insulated with Primaloft® Silver Hiloft Ultra. The face fabric is a 2-layer circular shell fabric, fully waterproof and breathable. Together with the warm, light and lofty 40 g Primaloft® insulation, you have a combination of materials that perfectly balances warmth, weather protection and comfort. You are fully sheltered from cold or wet weather but never weighed down or hindered to move freely.

Women's Ride Insulated Pants have all the features required for alpine adventures: Integrated boot snow gaiters, vent zippers, lower leg reinforcements, zippered leg pockets with internal phone pocket and adjustable waist and leg endings to ensure a perfect fit. This garment is also designed to minimize any negative impact on nature: The fabric and padding are made from recycled and recyclable fibers and the garment is completely free from PFAS.

When should I use it?
Women's Ride Insulated Pants are primarily designed for alpine skiing and snowboarding, but can definitely extend to other winter activities in cold weather. The insulation is balanced to provide good warmth but not overheat you when you are active.

This garment is made with the future in mind using materials fit for recycling. Please return it to Houdini when it is eventually worn out and the raw materials can be used again. This way we reduce the need for virgin resources, decrease environmental impact and waste streams.

Care
Shell pants with membrane
Air out clothes instead of washing them to save water, energy and to make the garments last longer. Make sure to wash your shell if it has been used in salt water or has gotten very sweaty or dirty as this weakens the performance of the garment. They can reduce the fabric’s breathability and damage the water repellent surface. The dirt can even allow for moisture to leak through the fabric.
Use a washing bag to protect your garments and to prevent fibers from leaking. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure to wipe it clean and throw the lint in your trash can. Never rinse it in water since we don’t want the fibers to end up in lakes or oceans.
Machine wash cold.
There are special detergents for shells, but mild, environmentally certified detergents work just as fine. Make sure to use the right dose.
Avoid fabric softener. Besides being harmful for our environment, they have a negative impact on the garment performance, mainly moisture transportation and breathability.
Hang dry. Just remember to introduce heat to the garment after washing to reactivate the water resistant surface of the outer fabric. Use a drying cabinet, dryer or iron. Make sure you monitor the heat so the garment does not melt.
You can reapply or enforce the water repellent treatment with a wash-in or spray when needed. Always use an organic DWR: You can find both a spray and a wash-in in the webshop or in our stores.
Remember to introduce heat to the garment after washing to reactivate the water resistant surface of the fabric.

Emotional read with children
Format: Kindle
Cammie is a single mother of two children whose ex-boyfriend, who is an alpha that he met his scent matched omega and dumped her via messenger on his phone then the next day put their house up for sale. Cammie moves back to her hometown, but because she has no support, is working two jobs to keep her and the children in a small rented house. One night her four year gets out of the house and she meets a neighbour, but she refuses to make the same mistake again by getting involved with another alpha, but Reid is convinced they are scent matched mates even though Cammie is a beta. Reid and his omega Fin start to court Cammie and her two children that they belong together as a pack and family. Cammie's ten year old son is a tough one to convince, but the scenes between him and Reid and Fin, they were so good. I was tearing up at times, found family was a big theme and I really liked this book. I highly recommend that you try it too.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
