A batch of six hogsheads from Mannochmore distillery was used to create this single malt, distilled in 2008 and aged for more than 13 years.
Nose - Freshly-cut grass is followed immediately by sticky caramel sauce and cinnamon-spiced apple strudel. A paper bag of candied mango lends a slightly tropical note.
Palate - Chili-dark-chocolate envelops the palate, leading onto delicious vanilla bean and a smattering of nutmeg. A spoonful of pear jam is spread on a buttery, flaky croissant.
Finish - A glass of elderflower-and-apple soda is poured, alongside a plate of caramelised pecans.
