Unmatched Clarity with 5 Balanced Armature Driver Configuration Each Side:-

Just like the previous RSV, the new RSV MK2 utilizes a five balanced armature driver configuration on each side. The pair is optimized with newer, advanced drivers that take its performance to the next level. We have dual Knowles CI series 22955 balanced armature drivers for a powerful, hard-hitting lower-end response. It is currently the largest BA model used in the industry. Then we have an improved ED driver for the midrange, it produces exceptional clarity and accuracy in the mid-frequency section. The pair achieves a unique, natural tonal character which brings life to vocals as well as instruments. Softears has featured a SWFK composite high-frequency driver for a clear and strong treble frequency response. It accurately produces the timbre of instruments and provides great extensions to the high-frequency region. These five balanced armature drivers provide an exceptionally solid three-frequency response that complements different genres of music with rich tonality and outstanding resolution.

Upgraded Four-Way Crossover with Four Independent Acoustic Tubes:-

Softears RSV MK2 features the brand’s exclusively designed LRC Tuning Network; the pair houses an advanced four-way crossover. It features 4 independent acoustic tubes putting the five drivers in a precise four-way crossover. The crossover here consists of seven high-precision components that ensure peak performance with each driver unit.

Strong Bass With Upgraded Dual-Tube Bass Design:-

The biggest limitation faced with all-BA-based IEMs is usually in the lower-end section. Softears has rectified it all with a unique new Dual-Tube design, it makes the sound path more evenly distributed, improving acoustic consistency and coherence across the lower-end. Dual-Pressure Relief Design:-

Softears RSV MK2 adopts the same patented passive dual-pressure relief designs featured on their flagship RS10. Softears RSV MK2 boasts not only pure sound, but also great comfort and a solid, eye-catching design. The pair looks absolutely charming with its CNC-machined anodised aluminium alloy face covers that have Carbon-Fiber in-laid in a solid V shape representing the “V” in RSV. On the upper side of the “V”, we have “RS” inlaid as well. The shells have a delicate matte finish; they are made up of high-quality Resin material. Softears has also featured an elevated lip on the 3D printed nozzle, which keeps the ear tips in place.

Premium Quality Stock Cable:-

Softears bundles the RSV MK2 with a 19-strand premium stock cable. It has a “reverse twist” configuration, which helps reduce contact resistance and signal loss. The cable adopts multiple ultra-fine strands in a twisted structure that cancels out inductive effects and protects the sound signal from microphonic issues. The cable cores are treated with a cryogenic process; they are frozen for 48 hours, then gradually returned to room temperature before being oil-soaked. Multiple cryogenic treatments optimize the conductor structure, lowering the noise floor and improving the sound signal reproduction. It features standard 0.78mm two-pin connectors and a 4.4mm balanced termination plug.
