• How do I know which steering box I have? Look on the housing for the part number. The OEM German box is stamped 113-415-061C; the EMPI replacement is 113-415-061CBR. Both work with this cover.

• Will this fit a Super Beetle? No — Super Beetles use a different MacPherson strut steering system.

• Do I need to remove the steering box to install? No. The cover slips over the existing housing while it's mounted.

• Will this work with our rebuilt German steering box? Yes — our Precision Rebuilt German Steering Box (gid://shopify/Product/8191714197619) already includes a polished billet top cover, but this EMPI cover is the ideal upgrade for stock or other rebuilt boxes.
