Elements such as molded jacks, high-bend test cables, Total Shield RF blocking, and AlphaBud earbuds assure interference-free communication and clear, crisp sounds, respectively. The SS-R1 package includes an R1 Dual Band Radio, an Aluminum handheld radio box, a wired communication harness, a rugged wired helmet kit, and a Velcro-mounted steering wheel Push-to-Talk button. The SS-KIT-R1 package offers similar features with added Alpha audio speakers. For versatile operation, this kit is compatible with all VHF/UHF business band radios on similar frequencies such as RDM-DB, M1, RDH-X, R1, V3, RM60, etc.
