- New for the 2023 season are the CCM JetSpeed FT6 Elbow Pads. CCM has revamped their protective line and designed them to offer maximum breathability in a highly mobile, lightweight yet reliable protective package. Players will feel lighter and cooler than ever without sacrificing protection.
- The biggest change for the FT6 elbow pads over previous models will be the all-new Aer-Tec thermoregulation system. This enhances air circulation, sweat evaporation and regulation of body heat. All of this helps to allow the body’s core temperature to cool quicker, helping players to keep cool and make faster, better decisions when it counts.
- Moving right into the construction process, the CCM Jetspeed FT6 Elbow Pads use a 3-piece flexmotion construction. This improved construction better follows the elbow’s natural movements, allowing for easier movement when stick handling, passing, and shooting. The elite level forearm is constructed of compress-molded HD foam which provides the highest level of protection while the Aer-Tec suspension system provides ventilation and aids airflow.
- The bicep area was constructed with a floating bicep pad and PE inserts. This is high caliber coverage around the bicep area and premium sublimated lining for elite comfort.
- For the elbow cap, the Jetspeed FT6 Elbow Pads will have a molded PE cap with JDP construction and an exposed EVA foam cover. The JDP cap is designed to disperse impact force away from the elbow joint and the EVA foam cover adds even more protection.
- CCM also incorporated a newly redesigned strapping system on the JetSpeed FT6 Elbow Pads. This strapping features a refined Y-shaped middle lock strap and a nylon forearm strap that allows for a better fit without compromising movement.
